ACTA Lab is one of the leading laboratories

ACTA Lab is a Research Laboratory of the Department of Energy Systems at the University of Thessaly, located in Larissa, Greece. Our group focuses on -but is not limited to- the following topics: Expert Systems and Knowledge Representation, Fuzzy Cognitive Maps, Artificial Intelligence, Modeling and Prediction, Decision Support Systems, Data Mining, Machine and Deep Learning, Generative AI, Explainable AI, Medical Decision Making, Computational Methods for Materials and Structures, and Technological Applications.

Our motivation is to bring state-of-the-art science and technology to real-world applications, aiming to enhance the quality of life in our society. There are different ways to contact us:
